Business Solution Architect – SAP Core Model

About the role

The Business Solution Architect will lead the design, build and rollout of Imerys’ SAP Core Model across its business areas. You will act as the functional and technical bridge between business requirements and SAP solutions, ensuring successful implementation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure the SAP Core Model following the defined methodology, from legal entity assessment to user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with IT consulting partners and internal SAP Core Model & Wave teams to guarantee knowledge transfer and compliance with rollout standards.
• Manage change requests, ensuring they are approved by Business Process Owners and implemented with optimal standard configuration.
• Lead testing, documentation, training and acceptance activities for each deployment.
• Maintain and evolve the solution, driving continuous improvement and promoting the SAP Core Model methodology across the IT organization.
• Develop and roll out a Light Barcode Inventory Management solution for sites where SAP EWM is not required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SAP solution architecture, preferably with SAP Core Model or similar large‑scale SAP implementations.
• Strong understanding of material flow processes and inventory management.
• Ability to work closely with business owners, consultants and development teams.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
