Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

Netcompany, a provider of digitalisation solutions for EU institutions and public and private organisations, is hiring an Azure DevOps Engineer in Athens. You will join an agile team that designs and implements automated solutions supporting applications development from the dev environment to production, working closely with software developers, testers and other internal teams as well as with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and set up development tools and infrastructure.
• Design and implement an application lifecycle management methodology based on modern CI/CD tools.
• Test and review automation code.
• Propose, design, implement and continuously improve DevOps services such as logging and monitoring.
• Automate and improve development and release processes.
• Install, configure and maintain a harmonised deployment workflow.
• Apply cybersecurity measures.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 3 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Azure DevOps, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Containers, for example Docker.
• Nice to have: Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Cache for Redis, Elastic Cloud.
