Assistant Waiter / Waitress

About the role

LUURA is hiring an Assistant Waiter for its Paros property. You support the service team in delivering a seamless dining experience, working closely with waiters, bartenders and the kitchen so that tables are ready, dishes arrive promptly and the restaurant runs smoothly. It is a hands-on role in a lifestyle hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support waiters during service by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
• Help with table setup and breakdown before and after service
• Clear tables, replace cutlery and glassware and reset tables as needed
• Keep the dining area and service stations clean and organised
• Communicate with waiters, kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing
• Maintain service standards in line with LUURA SOPs
• Attend daily briefings and follow the manager on duty's instructions
• Support opening and closing duties as assigned
• Handle equipment, trays and service items carefully and safely
• Respond quickly to guest requests when directed by the waiter or manager

Required profile

• Previous hospitality experience is a plus but not required
• Strong teamwork, good communication and a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail
• Physically able to stand for long periods and carry trays
• Oral English; additional languages are a plus
• Eligibility to work in EU countries
