About the role
The School of Business and Economics at Deree seeks a full‑time Assistant Professor in Finance to join its growing Department of Finance. The position combines teaching, research and academic service responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Teach courses such as Investments, Corporate Finance, Financial Management and Principles of Finance.
- Develop and maintain an independent research agenda aligned with departmental priorities.
- Support the department’s research initiatives and collaborate on scholarly projects.
- Participate in curriculum design and academic service activities.
Required profile
- PhD or equivalent in Finance, Financial Management, Corporate Finance or a related field.
- At least three years of higher‑education teaching experience, preferably within the UK or US system.
- Demonstrated research output with potential for worldwide impact.
- Fluent English proficiency.
Required skills
- Familiarity with academic learning platforms such as Blackboard.
- Proven teaching track record and ability to lead class‑based learning.
