Aircraft Mechanic (CH-47) – A&P or FCC – Greece

About the role

The CH-47 Aircraft Mechanic (FAA A&P or FCC) will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on CH-47 helicopters in accordance with FAA standards. The role supports military tactical aircraft operations and may require deployment to Germany or Greece.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑range maintenance on CH-47 airframes, engines, transmissions, hydraulic, fuel, heat and lubrication systems.
• Assemble, modify, install, align and balance major components such as fuselage sections, tail rotor assemblies and flight‑control systems.
• Incorporate authorized modifications and conduct operational checks using ground power equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble to point of failure and repair or replace defective parts.
• Utilise hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches, scales and diagnostic equipment specific to CH-47 models.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of recent aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P certification **or** FCC Elements 1 & 3 (with required experience on CH‑47).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance (NAC‑I T1 Public Trust) and a valid US passport.
• Eligibility for TESA approval (German government) and willingness to travel as required.

• Knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
