Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist – 24/7 Control Tower

About the role

The Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist ensures semiconductor shipments are handled to the highest standards, providing a consistently excellent customer experience. The role involves arranging transport, monitoring shipments, and maintaining active communication with customers, internal stakeholders, and third‑party suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange transport and coordinate flight planning for semiconductor shipments.
• Monitor shipment status, create files, and update customers via email or phone.
• Communicate with internal Kuehne+Nagel teams and external partners to ensure timely execution.
• Maintain data quality, correct errors, and handle exceptions or deviations.
• Manage customer escalations and deliver an outstanding service experience.

Required profile

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate clearly.
• Analytical, agile, detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
• High self‑organization, commitment, teamwork, flexibility and ownership.
• Decision‑making capability and confidence in handling exceptions.
• Availability for 24/7 shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and communication tools.
