AI Strategy Manager

About the role

Netcompany, a digitalisation company with over 8,900 professionals across Europe, is hiring an AI Strategy Manager in Athens for its Enterprise Solutions. You will own a portfolio of clients and the AI projects delivered for them, acting as the first point of contact and helping clients decide where AI creates value and how to move from pilots to production. You report to the AI Leader and lead the engineers on your projects.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients define their AI strategy, choose use cases and move from pilots to production.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders at clients and advise them on AI adoption.
• Identify new opportunities, shape proposals and lead the commercial side of bids with sales and architecture.
• Own project delivery: scope, plan, staffing, quality and client satisfaction, keeping the team balanced and utilised.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, run workshops, discovery sessions and steering meetings, and explain what AI can and cannot do.
• Manage risks, escalations and difficult conversations with clients.
• Report portfolio health (pipeline, revenue, margin, utilisation, delivery) to the AI Leader.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 8+ years in consulting, systems integration or technology delivery, with at least 4 years in a client-facing management role (engagement manager, delivery manager, account lead).
• Proven record of growing client accounts and winning new work, including writing and leading proposals.
• Experience leading teams of 5+ people across several projects and presenting to and negotiating with senior executives.
• Good knowledge of at least one of Financial Services, Telecommunications or Energy & Utilities.
• Fluency in Greek and English.

Required skills

• Working understanding of GenAI and AI delivery (LLMs, RAG, agents, evaluation, governance); hands-on coding is not required.
• A plus: an engineering background, and experience with AI governance, responsible AI or the EU AI Act.
