Accounts Payable Invoices Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Invoices Officer to join our finance team at the Sani/Ikos Group in Thessaloniki. The role supports month‑end closing, ensures accurate invoice processing and contributes to audit readiness within a fast‑growing hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly closure cut‑off procedures and assist in preparing the trial balance.
• Post vendor invoices to the ERP system, verify against purchase orders and vendor master data.
• Record, review and audit accounting entries and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Identify and implement process improvements for OPEX and CAPEX invoicing.
• Stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes affecting accounts payable.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role.
• Fluent English.
• Good knowledge of VAT, income tax and withholding tax.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Entersoft.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
