Accountant – Financial Transactions & SAP

About the role

Tora Wallet, a licensed electronic money institution, is looking for an experienced Accountant to support its financial operations. You will be responsible for accurate transaction recording, tax compliance, and reporting within a fast‑growing payments environment.

Key responsibilities

• Register and calculate all financial transactions, fixed assets, and post them to the General Ledger using SAP.
• Issue and collect invoices, ensuring compliance with internal processes and contracts.
• Assess tax treatment of transactions, including VAT, tax codes and withholding obligations.
• Prepare and upload forecast files for payment projections.
• Maintain the asset register and calculate depreciation.
• Allocate costs to appropriate departments for effective cost control.
• Manage myDATA compliance, resolve data discrepancies and reconcile records with VAT returns and E3 reporting.
• Reconcile accounts, SAP records, receivable/payable balances and ensure timely closing.
• Participate in annual closing, balance‑sheet preparation and ad‑hoc accounting assignments.
• Archive financial transactions securely to guarantee data availability.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related finance field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting standards, laws and regulations.
• High level of accuracy and strong organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (preferably S/4HANA).
• Experience using accounting software.
