Accountant – Finance Team, Athens

About the role

Kaizen Gaming is expanding its Finance team in Athens and is looking for a proactive Accountant. You will support daily HQ operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute everyday accounting tasks and support HQ daily operations.
• Analyze monthly financial results and produce reports in line with Group policies.
• Coordinate the annual financial audit and prepare required documentation.
• Interact with auditors, banks, regulatory bodies, and internal tax, AP, and treasury teams.
• Handle ad‑hoc requests and contribute to special projects.
• Support and optimise the existing ERP system, extracting data for comprehensive reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2‑4 years of financial reporting/accounting experience in an international corporate environment.
• Experience with formal audit processes and knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient use of MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central (ERP) – considered an asset.
