Accountant – Finance & Accounting Department

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and organized Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting department of a modern industrial plant located in the Industrial Zone of Komotini. The role involves handling daily accounting transactions, supporting payroll, and ensuring compliance with intra‑EU and third‑country trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and verify daily accounting data (invoices, expenses, receipts).
• Assist with compliance and processing on the myDATA platform.
• Support documentation of intra‑EU and third‑country trade transactions.
• Help with day‑to‑day payroll and personnel administration.
• Perform regular reconciliations of vendor, customer, and bank accounts.
• Manage financial aspects of research and investment projects, including budgeting, reporting, and audit preparation.
• Provide general administrative and accounting support to the Chief Accountant and Finance Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
• Good command of English and strong analytical, detail‑oriented skills.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and collaborate within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems – experience with ENTERSOFT is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with the myDATA platform for tax reporting.
• Knowledge of intra‑community and third‑country trade procedures.
• Basic payroll processing knowledge.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
