Senior Sales Representative

About the role

The Senior Sales Representative will drive new‑business acquisition and revenue growth for ABS Training Solutions within the maritime training market. This high‑energy, hunter‑type role focuses on prospecting, cold outreach, and closing contracts with shipowners, operators and related maritime organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an aggressive territory growth plan to win new training customers and increase market share.
• Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, conferences, trade shows and referrals.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline sufficient to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Negotiate and close training contracts with shipowners, operators, energy companies and maritime service providers.
• Conduct regular face‑to‑face meetings, represent ABS at industry events and build lasting client relationships.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities across the broader ABS service portfolio.
• Monitor competitive activity and market trends to position ABS effectively.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to maximise lead generation and conversion.

Required profile

• 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B or maritime‑related sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong prospecting discipline, persistence and consultative selling approach.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Business, Marketing or related field.
