Senior Account Manager – Enterprise IT Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a driven Senior Account Manager to join SmartNS’s commercial team in Athens. The role will own the full sales lifecycle for enterprise‑level IT infrastructure, cloud networking and security solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to C‑level executives and IT leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and close new enterprise accounts while expanding business within existing mid‑market and large corporate clients.
• Position and sell complex solutions covering enterprise networking, data‑center infrastructure, cloud & DevOps services, and advanced cybersecurity.
• Leverage SmartNS’s tier‑one vendor ecosystem (Cisco, Cloudflare, NetApp and other major OEMs) to create value‑driven proposals.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors and procurement teams.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales, solution architects and senior engineering to translate requirements into technical and financial proposals.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline tracking and reporting using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the Greek IT market, selling complex enterprise infrastructure, managed services or systems integration.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets and managing long, multi‑layered enterprise sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of modern enterprise IT architectures (networking, data centres, cloud and cybersecurity).
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills with the ability to engage C‑level stakeholders.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in Greek and English.
