Sales Engineer - Main Contractors

About the role

Sika Hellas, a subsidiary of Sika AG, is looking for a Sales Engineer to strengthen its presence in the projects segment of the construction market. The role drives sales efficiency in projects by developing Key Accounts and providing high-level technical support to major construction projects in the assigned area of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales in assigned areas, with a strong focus on Projects and Main Contractors.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing Key Accounts to meet sales and growth targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide high-level technical support and after-sales service, recommending appropriate Sika products and systems with internal departments.
• Work with the Technical Department and Target Markets to develop project opportunities and customer solutions.
• Support the development of promotional and technical materials for targeted products.
• Monitor market developments, map customers and projects, analyse competitors and track KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, Sika policies and procedures, and uphold Health & Safety and Sika's values.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the construction market, preferably in building materials.
• Previous technical sales or sales engineering experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned area.

• Ability to turn technical requirements into commercial solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
