Sales Engineer – Formwork Technology

About the role

Doka Hellas, a subsidiary of the Doka Group and the leading system formwork supplier in Greece, is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to drive sales and sales targets across Greece. The post reports to the Managing Director, whose goal is to expand Doka's presence in Greece and strengthen its market position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new and existing accounts and grow business through face-to-face contact with customers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate proposals.
• Take part proactively in tendering, project acquisition and the handling of projects from start to finish.
• Partner with operations and engineering on contracted jobs and obtain approved drawings.
• Manage all credit interactions with customers, including contractor approval of invoices, credit adjustments and prompt payment, and prepare monthly account status reports.

Required profile

• Educational background in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Construction).
• Sales experience in the construction and building materials industry.
• Local Greek construction knowledge and experience.
• Willingness to travel and be mobile.

Required skills

• Excellent English and fluent Greek.
• Analytical skills, numerical aptitude and good listening and probing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, resilience and confidence.
• Preferred: design engineering experience in system formwork, understanding of the formwork rental business, international construction experience and experience selling a premium product.
