Payroll Software Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Software Analyst to join our team and ensure that our payroll and HR systems stay compliant with evolving legislation. The role combines functional analysis, testing, documentation and user training within a dynamic banking and financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor changes in payroll and HR legislation, assess impact and propose system adjustments.
• Gather user requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications for developers.
• Design and execute test scenarios aligned with application workflows and labor‑law requirements.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and follow through to resolution.
• Produce user manuals, release notes and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Deliver training sessions on legislative updates and new system functionalities.
• Coordinate with development teams on task prioritisation, progress tracking and delivery.
• Maintain transparent and timely communication with all system users.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Information Technology.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Payroll Analyst with hands‑on payroll operations.
• Strong understanding of corporate HR, payroll and Time & Attendance processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in documenting processes, requirements and solutions.

Required skills

• Experience with established payroll software solutions.
• Experience with Time & Attendance software solutions.
• Basic knowledge of information systems architecture and integrations.
