Waiter / Waitress – Hotel Service Role

About the role

As a Waiter/Waitress at Glyfada Riviera Hotel you will greet guests, guide them to their tables and ensure a memorable dining experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, show them to their table and present the menu.
• Take orders accurately, answer menu questions and share daily specials.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, following kitchen specifications.
• Recommend wine and drink pairings and serve them with care.
• Handle special requests, including allergies and dietary needs, and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Address guest concerns calmly and quickly.
• Collaborate with assistant waiters to keep tables cleared, reset and ready.
• Present the bill, process payments accurately and thank guests for their visit.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as a waiter or waitress.
• Friendly, positive attitude and love for guest service.
• Good spoken English to guide guests through the menu.
• Calm under pressure and able to manage several tables simultaneously.
• Team player who works well with kitchen and service staff.
• Comfortable standing for most of the shift and handling plates.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
