Trainee Sales Executive – Telecoms (Athens)

About the role

Telecoms Traders Ltd is seeking a motivated individual to start a career in telecoms sales as a Trainee Sales Executive based in Athens. The role offers a clear development path toward becoming an Account Manager, with comprehensive training on the telecoms industry, products, and international business development.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential customers and new business opportunities across Greece and the wider region.
• Make outbound calls, introduce Telecoms Traders, and build relationships with telecom operators, ISPs, carriers and other organisations.
• Prepare quotations, follow up sales opportunities and maintain customer data in the CRM system.
• Develop an understanding of telecom infrastructure, manufacturers and equipment.
• Gradually manage an individual customer portfolio and negotiate commercial opportunities.

Required profile

• Confident, personable communicator who enjoys speaking with people.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and willing to learn with good organisational skills.
• Comfortable making telephone calls and developing new business relationships.
• Fluent in English and Greek.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to an international team.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM software for managing customer and opportunity information.
