Data & Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data & Backend Software Engineer to develop backend services, APIs and data‑processing pipelines for analytics‑driven applications. The role includes data acquisition, validation, normalization, storage and secure exposure of operational and time‑series data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services and REST APIs.
• Build data‑ingestion pipelines from APIs, databases, files and telemetry systems.
• Design relational schemas and normalized data models.
• Implement data validation, timestamp normalization, duplicate handling and quality checks.
• Maintain traceability between source data and processed results.
• Write automated unit and integration tests and collaborate with AI/ML and domain engineering teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience developing backend applications.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with ETL/data‑processing workflows.
