Trade Marketing Lead – Central East Europe (18‑month role)

About the role

The Trade Marketing Lead will drive Pet Specialty Retailing (PSR) trade marketing activities across in‑store, online and event channels for the Central East Europe cluster. This 18‑month fixed‑term position is based in Athens and works in a hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement PSR trade marketing activities to improve health outcomes and increase sales.
• Measure and analyse results, identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive category recommendation and growth through Joint Business Planning with customers and partners.
• Provide distinctive trade marketing assets based on competitor analysis, market trends and portfolio priorities.
• Lead agencies, suppliers and cross‑functional teams, and manage trade marketing budgets and planning processes.
• Ensure Royal Canin’s brand image at major activations and events and develop the Cluster Trade Marketing team.

Required profile

• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Customer‑oriented with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
