Tax Compliance Associate / Senior Associate

About the role

Join PwC's Tax Compliance team in Athens and help businesses navigate complex tax environments. You will turn intricate tax matters into clear strategies, ensure compliance, and support clients as they grow.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tasks as directed by project managers and senior team members.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and respond to queries promptly.
• Participate in accounting and tax advisory projects.
• Support electronic bookkeeping (my DATA) and e‑delivery initiatives.
• Assist in preparing tax returns (CIT, VAT, etc.).
• Engage in tax reporting projects under Greek GAAP and IFRS.
• Liaise with clients on various accounting and tax issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance from a top‑tier university.
• Master's degree in Taxation or a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA) is a strong asset.
• Relevant experience in accounting, tax compliance, bookkeeping or my DATA.
• Experience in a consulting firm is a plus.
• Strong command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with the my DATA platform.
