Sustainability Reporting & Assurance Experienced Professional

About the role

Join PwC's rapidly growing Sustainability Reporting & Assurance practice, helping clients navigate complex ESG reporting landscapes and build trust with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support or lead sustainability assurance engagements from planning through completion, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Design and execute materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Implement sustainability reporting frameworks, including governance structures, data collection, validation, and consolidation.
• Contribute to business development by identifying client opportunities and supporting proposal development.
• Research emerging sustainability regulations and assist internal teams with interpretation of reporting requirements.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of client‑facing experience in ESG advisory or assurance.
• Proven performance in sustainability reporting, ESG assurance, climate change or decarbonisation.
• University degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, sustainability or a quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and project‑management abilities.
• Military obligations fulfilled.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience handling large data sets.
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks and standards: ESRS/CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD, TNFD, CDP, ISO 14001, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, EU Taxonomy.
