Software Engineer – Technology Consulting

About the role

EY is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Technology Solutions Delivery team in Patras. You will work in multidisciplinary, globally‑connected teams to design, develop, and implement IT solutions for clients across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using object‑oriented languages such as C#, Java or Python.
• Participate in front‑end development with HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design, consume and test APIs (REST/JSON or SOAP) and integrate them into solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and analysts to define solution architecture and implementation plans.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver high‑quality software iteratively.
• Utilize version control systems and follow best practices for source code management.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and basic DevOps practices.
