Software Engineer – Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)

About the role

The Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) Business Line develops global broadband access devices, focusing on 5G FWA and home connectivity solutions. Based in Athens, Greece, the team designs and tests new features for 5G FWA products, delivering high‑quality solutions to customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design and implement new features following FWA software architecture guidelines and quality standards.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable C/C++ code and develop unit/module tests.
• Contribute to documentation, internal error analysis and resolution.
• Resolve static and dynamic code analysis issues to maintain high‑quality standards.
• Develop methodologies and tools to improve software quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align feature development with customer requirements.
• Support deployment and maintenance of software solutions globally.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Proven experience in C or C++ software development, preferably in embedded environments.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and Linux‑based operating systems.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab, Gerrit) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and ability to work in a geographically distributed team.
