Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join Bally’s Intralot’s IT team. The role focuses on monitoring, maintaining and evolving our on-premises and cloud network infrastructure across multiple sites. You will work closely with other technology leaders to ensure high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network equipment (firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, load balancers) and respond to alerts and outages.
• Design and implement resilient network solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Define, document and enforce system standards while directing installations and upgrades.
• Maximize network performance through troubleshooting, scheduled upgrades and collaboration with other technology domains.
• Upgrade data and voice network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
• Configure routing, switching, load balancing, firewall (ACLs, IPS/IDS, web filtering) and VPN devices.
• Coordinate with ISPs and hosting providers to reconfigure or upgrade interconnection points.
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation, designs and housekeeping records.

Required profile

• University or college degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in network engineering.
• CCNA certification (CCNP preferred).
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic and analytics tools and a solid understanding of VMware.
• Experience with VoIP technologies, Linux and Windows operating systems, and server systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
