Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Hack The Box you will empower the Content Engineering team by delivering reliable, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure for hands‑on learning experiences. You will work on automation, observability, and operational excellence while also supporting broader production services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Terraform‑based infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Build and enhance observability capabilities using Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, Loki and Tempo.
• Partner with Content Engineers to improve workflows, reduce operational friction and accelerate content delivery.
• Support production environments through maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive automation projects that reduce manual effort and increase consistency.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
• Experience operating workloads in Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Go preferred, Python or Bash acceptable).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and developer enablement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
