IT Helpdesk Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide advanced technical support within our Microsoft‑based environment. The role bridges first‑line support and systems engineering, handling escalated tickets and contributing to infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user support for hardware, software, network and account issues on Windows 10/11, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Own tickets from creation to resolution via the ITSM platform, meeting SLA targets.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding, device imaging and access rights in Active Directory/Entra ID.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP and support Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing).
• Configure and monitor endpoints with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager and assist with Azure VMs, storage, backup and basic networking.
• Support core network components (switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, VPN) and participate in patch management and backup verification.
• Write PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive administrative tasks.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in IT helpdesk, desktop support or junior systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure fundamentals.
• Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and firewalls.
• Ability to work independently on escalated issues and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
