Shift Maintenance Technician

About the role

JDE Peet's, a pure-play coffee company owned by Keurig Dr Pepper, is recruiting a Shift Maintenance Technician in Inofyta. The technician reports to the Shift Leader and is responsible for safely maintaining the production lines so that output meets quality standards, while being accountable for the core shift and area KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Autonomous maintenance: advise, transfer knowledge and expertise to the teams so equipment stays in basic condition, and eliminate equipment abnormalities and defects
• Corrective maintenance: develop machine knowledge on the production lines, share observations with operators, raise defect documentation, act quickly on breakdowns and carry out breakdown analysis
• Monitor the line after a breakdown to ensure an efficient restart with good efficiency and product quality
• Preventive maintenance: execute the plan on time, take part in maintenance activities and part refurbishment, keep maintenance records up to date, consult technical documentation and ensure spare parts are available
• Safety: stop work when safety is at risk or uncertain, and take part in safety discussions during operations performance meetings
• Quality: perform all maintenance so that product quality is protected, especially against contamination by oils, fats or foreign objects

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor) or technical degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a processing industry
• Knowledge of automation
• Technical English

Required skills

• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatics and electronics experience
• MS Office, SAP, PRS and machine interface software
