SAP Formulation Specialist

About the role

Sika Hellas is looking for an SAP Formulation Specialist to join the R&D/QC department at its facilities in Kryoneri, Attica. The role prepares, validates and maintains formulations, BOMs and master data in SAP, ensuring accurate and consistent data management during Go-Live and the post-implementation stabilization phase.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review and maintain SAP master data for formulations, BOMs, raw materials, packaging materials and finished products.
• Support the migration and validation of product formulations and related data entries in SAP.
• Keep SAP data aligned with R&D formulations, QC specifications and production requirements.
• Coordinate data entry for alternative raw materials, packaging configurations and formulation revisions.
• Take part in SAP testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution during Go-Live and stabilization, supporting data governance for accuracy, traceability and compliance.
• Work with R&D, QC, Production, Supply Chain and external SAP support teams and document formulations, specifications and process changes.
• Contribute to improving SAP workflows and data management, and support laboratory testing, formulation updates and product optimization projects when needed.

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in R&D, QC, technical data management or laboratory operations in the chemical, construction materials or coatings industries.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/SAP systems, formulation management or master data handling is an advantage.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in technical data and master data entries.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with good organizational and cross-departmental communication.
