Senior RF/Analog Analysis and Characterization Engineer

About the role

Renesas Electronics is looking for a Senior RF/Analog Analysis and Characterization Engineer in Athens. The role covers pre- and post-silicon activities for RF and analog circuit building blocks, ensuring they meet functional and performance specifications and give Renesas a competitive advantage in the IC market.

Key responsibilities

• Find problems during the pre-silicon phase and implement RF/analog driver definitions and fixes.
• Define how the block and system are evaluated, which parameters are tested and correlated, and bring up the chip in the lab.
• Evaluate chip performance, debug block and system issues, optimize silicon system performance and support design with issue mitigation.
• Own full documentation of block and system-level results, and define automation and tooling for analysis, debugging and data collection.
• Analyze data statistics and provide formal datasheet parameters.

Required profile

• More than 3 years of experience in RF/analog system design or chip design.
• Highly experienced with RF/analog testing equipment and working in the lab.
• Ability to debug and solve complex silicon issues, and to propose innovative, leading-edge solutions.
• Highly proficient English, written and spoken, with good interpersonal communication and assertiveness with superiors and peers.
• Team player who drives, develops and tutors colleagues, able to set and meet goals and deadlines.
