Service Technician - Lifting Equipment

About the role

Konecranes is strengthening its field service team in the Athens area and is looking for an experienced engineer to join it. The team repairs, maintains and services customers' lifting equipment, handles service inspection contracts, refurbishment and modernisation projects, and installs, tests and certifies overhead cranes and hoists.

Required profile

• Ideally apprentice-trained or equivalent, with full knowledge of electrical and/or engineering disciplines
• Good grasp of Greek, spoken and written
• Strong interpersonal skills, as there is extensive customer contact
• Safety conscious and physically fit, able to work at heights
• Willingness to work extra hours during the week and at weekends
• Current driving licence

Required skills

• Electrical and/or engineering knowledge
• Experience with overhead cranes and hoists is desirable but not essential, as full product training is given
