Service Technician - Cranes and Lifting Equipment

About the role

Konecranes is looking for a Service Technician to maintain cranes and lifting equipment in the Athens area. The role suits someone who enjoys learning new skills, likes driving a car and is comfortable working at heights. You will report to a supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance and service of customers' lifting equipment
• Service inspection contracts
• Refurbishment and modernisation projects
• Installation, testing and certification of overhead cranes and hoists

Required profile

• Apprentice-trained or equivalent, with good knowledge of electrical and engineering disciplines
• Approximately 2+ years of experience
• Good verbal and written Greek and good communication skills, as there is customer contact
• Safety-conscious and willing to work at heights
• Willingness to work extra hours during the week and on weekends
• Current driving licence
• Experience with overhead cranes and hoists is desirable but not essential, as full product training is provided
