Senior Warehouse & Distribution Manager

About the role

efood is seeking a senior leader to oversee its warehouse and distribution operations for Alpha Dianomes. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on management to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost‑effective logistics across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the supply chain strategy to boost logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated warehouse and distribution team.
• Oversee end‑to‑end daily activities from receiving to final delivery.
• Design and enforce operating procedures that improve accuracy and speed.
• Participate in budgeting, monitor expenses and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Manage recruitment, training, performance evaluation and shift scheduling.
• Implement robust cycle‑counting processes to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth product flow and high availability.
• Assess and improve WMS, ERP and TMS systems, working with IT on upgrades and integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field (Master/MBA a plus).
• 5+ years of proven experience in warehouse and distribution management, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite.
