Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

Are you an experienced Senior Systems Administrator seeking a long-term, highly stable role within the dynamic maritime and logistics industry? Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and troubleshoot physical and virtual server environments (approximately 80% Windows, 20% Linux) to maintain peak operational health.
• Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi virtualization platforms, Storage/SAN architectures, and robust disaster‑recovery/business‑continuity backup and restore workflows.
• Maintain and administer enterprise Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Oversee core infrastructure services including Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP, and use PowerShell for infrastructure‑as‑code automation.
• Participate in IT projects such as Microsoft 365/Azure migrations (Exchange Online, SharePoint) and infrastructure refreshes.
• Utilize ITSM tools for incident logging and conduct risk assessments before applying system changes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional business departments, network/security teams and third‑party vendors to resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Systems Administration and infrastructure management experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong technical expertise across Windows Server, Active Directory, GPOs, VMware vSphere, SAN/Storage systems and DR/BCP procedures.
• Practical experience with PowerShell automation scripting and Microsoft 365/Azure cloud environments.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Bachelor’s degree (Level 5+) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft 365 Administrator or Microsoft Server Administrator are highly desirable.
