Senior Sustainability & Climate Change Consultant – Athens

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our sustainability team in Athens. The professional will help clients navigate climate‑related risks, comply with emerging EU regulations and develop robust decarbonisation strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct climate risk assessments (physical and transition) using scenario analysis aligned with TCFD.
• Prepare sustainability disclosures and ensure compliance with CSRD and related regulations.
• Support EU Taxonomy eligibility and alignment assessments and related reporting obligations.
• Perform GHG inventory calculations (Scopes 1‑3) following the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064/14067 and conduct LCA modeling.
• Develop climate strategies, transition plans and science‑based targets in line with SBTi and TCFD.
• Identify carbon‑footprint reduction opportunities and design carbon‑offsetting mechanisms.
• Carry out nature‑related risk and opportunity assessments according to TNFD.
• Research and interpret climate policies and regulatory developments for client strategies.
• Leverage GIS and other sustainability data platforms to improve deliverable accuracy.
• Facilitate client workshops and training on climate risk, decarbonisation and reporting.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations and thought‑leadership content.
• Oversee project monitoring, coordination and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• BSc or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum four years of client‑facing consulting experience in sustainability.
• Strong knowledge of global sustainability frameworks and regulations (CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, TCFD, TNFD, SBTi, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064/14067).
