Senior Power BI Developer – Business Intelligence

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior BI / Power BI Developer to join our team and lead the design and delivery of Business Intelligence, reporting and data analytics solutions across multiple projects. The role focuses on turning complex business and operational requirements into robust data models, reliable pipelines, interactive dashboards and actionable reports.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports and analytics solutions.
• Create and maintain semantic models, datasets and reporting data models.
• Develop advanced DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, ERP systems, files and other enterprise sources.
• Design, build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines ensuring performance and scalability.
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, quality controls and Row‑Level Security.
• Troubleshoot data, performance and integration issues.
• Contribute to the architecture and technical design of BI and analytics projects.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers and client teams when BI solutions need to integrate with custom software.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, analytics or data development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI and SQL.
• Proven ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and independent work skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
