Senior Mechanical Development Engineer

About the role

Intracom Defense (IDE) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Development Engineer to lead the design and development of cutting‑edge defense products. You will work on complete product cycles from requirements to testing, ensuring high‑performance mechanical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in mechanical design and development of state‑of‑the‑art defense systems.
• Handle the full development cycle: requirements specification, design, analysis, prototype development, integration, testing, and installation.
• Conduct structural, thermal, and CFD simulations, and manage safety and manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and development projects.
• Strong knowledge of product development, materials, tooling, and fabrication processes.

Required skills

• Linear and non‑linear static and dynamic structural analysis, frequency response, durability analysis using FEA.
• CFD analysis of airflow, thermal simulations of electronic systems, and thermal management techniques.
• Proficiency with SIEMENS NX CAD/CAE tools and GD&T principles.
