Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Agile Actors is a tech company that augments and empowers technical teams for international and Greek clients, offering coaching, continuous learning and innovation. This Senior DevOps Engineer position is based in one of its local teams in Athens, working with global clients such as Austrian Post, Red Hat and Swissquote.

Required profile

• Extensive professional experience in DevOps, SRE or a related engineering role.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Groovy).
• Ability to design, deploy and operate solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building, maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Required skills

• Containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar.
• Infrastructure as Code and automation: Terraform and Ansible.
• Version control with Git.
• Nice to have: NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra) and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana).
