Senior Auditor – Audit Practice

About the role

EY Greece is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its fast‑growing Audit practice in Athens. You will work on diverse engagements across core, shipping and financial services industries, applying modern audit techniques that combine AI, data analytics and deep accounting knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day fieldwork on audit engagements and keep senior managers informed of progress.
• Leverage AI and technology solutions to deliver high‑quality audit deliverables.
• Execute audit procedures with a focus on risk assessment and accounting technical matters.
• Mentor junior team members and provide on‑the‑job training in audit methodology and industry specifics.
• Stay up‑to‑date with developments in IFRS and US GAAP and apply them to client engagements.
• Build strong relationships with clients, understand their strategic goals and contribute to service improvement.

Required profile

• Several years of experience performing audits in a professional services environment.
• Proven ability to influence clients and engagement teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development.
