Senior Associate – Risk Management Advisory (GRC Financial Services)

About the role

PwC Greece is expanding its Governance, Risk, Compliance & Internal Audit practice and seeks a Senior Associate to join the Risk Management Advisory team. You will work on high‑impact projects that help regulated organisations design, implement and evolve risk frameworks and compliance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve enterprise risk‑management frameworks, risk taxonomies, appetite statements, KRI/KPI libraries, registers and RCSA methodologies.
• Interpret EU and international regulatory requirements and translate them into practical controls, frameworks and remediation road‑maps.
• Support risk‑related activities across the engagement lifecycle, including methodology design, data preparation, analysis and documentation of results.
• Review, draft and enhance client policies and procedures, identifying observations, root causes and actionable recommendations.
• Take ownership of workstreams, plan timelines, track progress and coordinate with managers to mitigate delivery risks.
• Prepare high‑quality client deliverables that are accurate, clear and commercially impactful.
• Contribute to business development through research, proposal support, thought‑leadership and internal solution playbooks.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in risk management, internal audit or risk advisory within a Big 4, consulting firm or industry.
• Proven ability to design or assess risk frameworks, controls or audit programmes.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to break down complex problems and generate insight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
