Senior Associate – Banking & Wealth Management Consultant

About the role

PwC is seeking a motivated Senior Associate to join its Banking & Wealth Management consulting team in Athens. You will work directly with leading financial services organisations, helping them transform business models and improve operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end business model transformation initiatives for banking, payments, NPL servicing and wealth management clients.
• Analyse existing client models, identify gaps and recommend actionable strategies for growth and efficiency.
• Design and implement operational frameworks that drive process improvements, cost reductions and enhanced customer experiences.
• Manage project activities, develop action plans, lead workshops, coordinate daily tasks and present progress to senior management.
• Collaborate with C‑suite and senior business leaders to define objectives, KPIs and performance benchmarks.
• Guide junior team members to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Prepare and present proposals, business cases and detailed reports to executive teams.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in financial services, management consulting or a related industry.
• Proven experience in project management and transformation initiatives within large financial institutions (banks, loan servicers, payment institutions, etc.).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Track record of thriving in collaborative team environments.
