Senior Accountant

About the role

Baker Tilly South East Europe is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its audit team. You will work in a dynamic, cross‑border environment, supporting clients with accurate financial reporting, tax compliance and insightful management information.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain proper accounting records.
• Prepare financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Process invoices, receipts and payments.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for income tax and VAT returns.
• Handle various ad‑hoc management reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Strong attention to detail and solid time‑management abilities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
