SAP ABAP Developer (Mid-Senior)

About the role

Netcompany is an SAP partner and integrator in the EMEA market, offering SAP licenses, technology and customised services. Its SAP team works on projects using SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP and industry solutions such as IS-U and IS-OIL, across sectors like consumer goods, education, utilities, telecommunications and banking. As an SAP ABAP Developer (mid-senior), you will design, develop and support SAP solutions, working closely with functional consultants and other technical team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain SAP ABAP applications and custom developments.
• Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms and integrations across FI, CO, SD, MM, PS and PM modules.
• Work with functional consultants to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain solutions in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Apply SAP development standards and best practices to ensure maintainable, high-quality code.
• Take part in technical analysis, effort estimation, testing, troubleshooting and production support.
• Analyse and resolve technical and performance issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation and collaborate with developers, consultants and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required profile

• 3 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Ability to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ABAP and ABAP Objects (ABAP OO).
• ALV reports, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits and forms.
• SmartForms and/or Adobe Forms.
• SAP interfaces and integrations.
• Experience with at least some of FI, CO, SD, MM, PS, PM; SAP S/4HANA experience is highly desirable.
• CDS Views, OData or Fiori/UI5 is a plus; SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI is a plus.
