Reservations Manager

About the role

Fodele Beach Resort & The Syntopia Hotel is looking for an experienced, dynamic and highly organized Reservations Manager to join its hotels team. The successful candidate will run the Reservations Department efficiently, deliver excellent service to guests and partners, and maximise occupancy and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Reservations Department, leading, supporting, training and motivating the team.
• Handle and supervise reservations from tour operators, travel agents, online travel agencies and direct guests.
• Monitor availability, allotments, stop sales, cancellations and booking pace.
• Ensure accurate reservation management and processing in Protel and Opera PMS and other booking systems.
• Maintain and use the hotel's CRM system to manage guest and partner information and improve customer relationships.
• Prepare, analyse and monitor reservation reports and performance data with Microsoft Excel and BI tools, identifying booking trends and revenue opportunities.
• Work with Sales, Revenue, Front Office, Marketing and Finance departments, and manage special requests, amendments and cancellations.
• Maintain effective communication with partners, tour operators and guests.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Reservations Manager or similar senior reservations position in the hotel industry.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
• Strong organisational, time-management, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, professional and customer-service oriented.
