Reliability Engineer – Mechanical Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join the Maintenance Department of a leading international industrial company. The role focuses on ensuring high reliability and availability of production equipment and facilities through systematic analysis and proactive maintenance strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production lines and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate mechanical failures.
• Design and implement preventive maintenance plans, applying predictive techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
• Track and improve critical KPIs, including MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
• Supervise operation of hydraulic and pneumatic networks, gearboxes, pumps, transmission systems, and robotics.
• Collaborate with production teams, maintenance technicians, and external providers to execute scheduled maintenance.
• Participate in equipment upgrade projects while adhering to safety, quality, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) standards.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in reliability or maintenance engineering within an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, industrial automation, and complex mechanical systems.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
