Project Manager – Mechanical Engineering

About the role

Elval is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to join its Engineering Division within the Mechanical Department. The role involves planning, coordinating and delivering mechanical engineering projects that support production facilities, industrial equipment, infrastructure upgrades and continuous‑improvement initiatives while meeting quality, safety, budget and timeline requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through to hand‑over.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, prepare technical specifications, tender documents and project reports.
• Oversee installation and commissioning, ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation plans and ensure adherence to company standards and engineering best practices.
• Support continuous‑improvement and operational‑excellence initiatives across the plant.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (integrated 5‑year) in Mechanical Engineering from a Polytechnic University.
• Professional experience in project management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial equipment and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with project‑management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent planning, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
