Purchasing Manager – Resort Operations

About the role

Ella Resorts is opening a new luxury resort in Corfu in 2027 and seeks a Purchasing Manager to lead all procurement activities. You will be responsible for ensuring timely, cost‑effective, and sustainable sourcing of food, beverage, and other hotel supplies while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Central Procurement Office policies and maintain supplier relationships.
• Oversee purchasing across all departments, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
• Identify and act on cost‑saving opportunities throughout the procurement process.
• Collaborate with F&B, Culinary, Housekeeping, Engineering, Spa and other teams to manage stock levels.
• Negotiate and monitor central agreements to secure optimal pricing and quality.
• Lead the procurement team, ensuring timely ordering, accurate inventory control and on‑time delivery.
• Guarantee adherence to legal, ethical and sustainability standards in all purchasing activities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, generate performance reports and support audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury environments.
• Proven leadership experience in procurement or supply‑chain roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimisation and sustainability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software such as Entersoft, MC Material Control and Adaco.
