Project Procurement Manager

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Project Procurement Manager to join its Athens team. You will lead procurement activities for rail projects, ensuring that sourcing strategies support quality, cost and delivery targets while complying with legal and financial requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the Project Procurement Management Plan aligned with QCD commitments.
• Coordinate and consolidate sourcing activities across the project, working with the Project Core Team, Site Procurement, and Sub‑System Managers.
• Oversee supplier performance, manage risks, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Build and manage the Material Work Package, including cost and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with project‑specific legal and financial conditions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in purchasing, engineering, project management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a technical environment such as project, sourcing, engineering or quality.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Results‑oriented with a structured approach to problem‑solving.
• International outlook and fluency in English.
