Project Manager – Energy Storage Solutions

About the role

Jinko ESS, a global leader in energy storage solutions, is seeking a Project Manager to drive the delivery of utility‑scale battery storage projects from contract award through commissioning and handover. The role will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and quality teams to ensure projects meet schedule, budget and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of energy storage projects across initiation, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout.
• Define scope, goals and deliverables aligned with customer requirements and corporate objectives.
• Develop detailed schedules, resource plans and cost forecasts using project management tools.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, quality and logistics.
• Monitor performance, manage changes, risks and issues, and report status to senior management.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, EPCs, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and contractual obligations.
• Oversee site execution, support commissioning and performance testing, and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience managing renewable energy or energy storage projects, preferably utility‑scale.
• PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of battery storage systems, power conversion and grid integration.
• Proven ability to deliver complex technical projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
