Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

SABO, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee the successful execution of projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction work, verify technical designs and drawings, provide onsite technical advice and solve problems.
• Monitor project timesheets and budget daily, ensuring specifications, budget and schedule are met.
• Supervise the project team, manage performance and development, encourage teamwork and foster team spirit.
• Conduct meetings with customers, ensure they complete agreed activities, manage claims and complaints, and identify new project opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sustainability policies and legislation.
• Prepare and share project reports, cooperating with the project manager to achieve successful completion and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
